6.3 Integrated diagnostics (G3345251)

TOPIx Cloud Diagnostics covers Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles from 17MY for Discovery, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, and 18MY onwards for all other vehicles excluding XJ.

SDD covers earlier vehicles / model years including XJ.

To access Module Programing you must complete one of the Module Programing files downloads detailed below and purchase an applicable subscription.

For access to Key and Security Module Programing files you must follow the Trust Center accreditation process for your region. If a Trust Center is not available you can apply for JLR Manual Accreditation using TOPIx Feedback.

Detailed instruction on downloading the files and set up is available on TOPIx. To view you must be a registered user signed into the system.

Purchase a Module Programing or Workflow subscription

Select here to Purchase a Programing only or Programing, Documents and Workflow Subscription
  1. From your User Options in TOPIx, scroll down to programing subscriptions
  2. Select the subscription type Module Programing or Workflow and the length of the subscription you require. The cost will be displayed
  3. Select Next to see an order summary, and select Complete Order to continue. This will direct you to a safe payment site
  4. Select Continue to make a payment and follow the online instructions. When completed you will be redirected back to TOPIx

TOPIx Cloud Diagnostics - Download Instructions

  1. For TOPIx Cloud only, download the Diagnostic Device Agent (DDA) from the TOPIx Links Page
  2. When DDA is installed all updates are automatic
  3. When the JLR approved diagnostic equipment is connect to a vehicle and DDA is started it synchronizes with TOPIx to display vehicle data and all expected features and functions
  • From the TOPIx Links Page downland and install the applications listed below, which are required for new set-up:
    • Chrome Download
    • Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI) Drivers for TOPIx
    • DDA`
    • JLR Launcher
    • VCI Controller Area Network (CAN) Logger

  1. To find out which version of Windows is installed on your machine go to: Windows/Settings/System/About
  2. Then follow the instructions for your machine, by selecting the relevant link below;

Key and Security Module Programing

For access to Key and Security Module Programing, you must be approved with a Trust Center if available in your country.For regions that do not have Trust Centre access, a manual accreditation process is available.
  • Manual Accreditation documents can be found on the links page in TOPIx. Attach the completed documents to a TOPIx Feedback case.
  • When your feedback case has been received, you will be asked to pay the processing fee. If your application is successful, your accreditation access will be enabled.
  • Your accreditation must be re-evaluated every two years. If you are unsuccessful, you will be made aware why. Any re-applications will incur another processing fee.
  • If you are found to be in breach of the terms and conditions your subscription will be invalidated. If SERMI becomes available in your region you will be required to move to this accreditation and your manual accreditation will be canceled.
